• A Human Resources Professional in a corporate environment (7 years), as well as a trained Crisis Counselor (7 years) for a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week Crisis Hotline.

• As a corporate HR professional, Sarina is a specialist in Selection, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, and Training.

• In her role, as a Coach, Sarina partners with individuals and organizations to create transformational results in their personal and professional lives. Sarina works with employees, management, individuals, consultants, entrepreneurs, and small business owners on workplace issues, personal and professional development, life transitions (career/relationships), along with creating a sense of work-life balance for her clients.

• Trained Personal & Professional Coach through Coach U, and currently working towards becoming an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through International Coach Federation (ICF).

• Sarina completed her Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (HR/OD/Training focused not Clinical oriented) at Hofstra University on a part time basis while working full time in the industry. Program coursework included Motivation, Training & Development, Performance Management, Selection, Statistics, Social Psychology, Organizational Development, Ethics, as well as Human Resources Management.

• Initially, Sarina faced several obstacles on her path to obtaining a college education. The major one was obtaining the necessary financial resources. By attending Suffolk County Community College, and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Sarina was able to transfer and complete her Bachelor’s Degree at Long Island University/CW Post Campus by means of scholarships to cover the cost of tuition.

• Sarina truly understands what it means to work hard to achieve goals, successes, and dreams.

  • The choice is to give in and accept it or to fight back with Determination!

• Living more in the moment has become a way of her life. Sarina is known for being vocal, and taking a strong stance of what she truly believes in. Most importantly, Sarina chooses not to compromise who she is for others.

• Sarina has earned the title, “Summer Events Coordinator” amongst her close friends, as she takes the initiative to organize trips to Long Island Wineries, Canoeing, Comedy Shows, and NYC Restaurant Week, to name a few favorites.

• Traveling to new destinations, and especially by plane is always on Sarina’s agenda for the year. She’s trying to make up for lost time – her 1st time on a plane was in 2002!
